Mr. Abrar Hasan delivering speech at the General Body Meeting held on 12.05.2016 at Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) in remembrance of events on 12.05.2007 in Karachi, when the then Chief Justice of Pakistan, was not allowed, by the then government, to attend the Golden Jubilee Function of the Sindh Chief Court, organized by SHCBA.
Mr. Abrar Hasan was president of SHCBA at that time.

‘Roll Signing Ceremony’ was held at Karachi Registry of the Supreme Court on 27.05.2016 (Friday), Wherein around 50 new Advocates signed the ‘Roll of the Advocates of Supreme Court of Pakistan’. The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Mr. Justice Amir Hani Muslim, Mr. Justice Faisal Arab and Mr. Justice Khilji Arif Hussain.
On the invitation of Mr. Abrar Hasan- Advocate; Vice-President of Confederation of Lawyers of Asia and Pacific (COLAP), a delegation of COLAP from Japan comprising of Ms. Aisa KIYOSUE; Associate Professor, Muroran Institute of Technology, Mr. Hajime INOUE; Attorney-At-Law and Mr. Masaru OYA of Right to Peace, visited High Court of Sindh at Karachi on 29.03.2018, met Mr. Saleem Mangrio; President Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA), Mr. Rehan Malik; Secretary, visited Sindh High Court Library and other lawyers.
On 19.06.2016, our Senior Partner Mr. Abrar Hasan was elected Vice President of the Confederation of Lawyers of Asia and the Pacific (COLAP) at the 6th Conference of COLAP.COLAP is a representative body of lawyers from around 122 countries.
The conference was held from 17th to 19th June, 2016 at Kathmandu, Nepal, organized by the International Preparatory Committee of COLAP in cooperation with the International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL) together with the Organizing Committee in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The Sixth Conference of Lawyers of Asia- Pacific (COLAP VI) was held with the theme “Challenges to rights of the people for Peace, Democracy, Human rights and economic development”.The theme reflects the current challenge of the world population on defending their rights, democracy and dignity to live in peace and with sovereign status. The conference held four thematic commissions on Global and Regional Peace, Human Rights, Economic Development, and Democracy and number of side events along with specific session on Nepal’s Development on Democratic Process and Difficulties, discussions were also held on current world situation and context of threats in Asia-Pacific and need of peoples’ struggle and new legal system.
Mr. Abrar Hasan represented Pakistan in Commissions IV ‘ Strengthening Democracy’.
Our partner Mr. Emad-ul-Hasan carried out one day workshop on ‘Legal Issues for CFOs and Senior Finance Professionals’ for 13 times at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The objective of the workshop is to apprise the participants about the compliance and legal risks so that appropriate and timely measures may be taken to mitigate the same in order to avoid litigation.
Our partner Mr. Emad-ul-Hasan carried out a presentation and e-talk on ‘Anti Money Laundering Laws: Actionable Insights on Recent Amendments in the AML Law—Detect Potential Offences to Mitigate Risk’, held by TerraBiz on 22.06.2021.
Our partner Mr. Emad-ul-Hasan’s authored a book ‘Lawyers’ Manual-Volume-I (How to institutionalize legal practice)’ containing policies & procedures to bring efficiency & effectiveness in a lawyer’s office, developed out of practical experience in order to strengthen the firm and ensure succession planning. The book has also been published at Amazon & Medium.com
